MEET WALT BUCHTERKIRCHEN

                                               
Walt is a retired aerospace engineer and lives with his wife Marilyn in the Murphys    community of Forest Meadows.  Most of his formal training came through painting with Walfrido Garcia in the San Francisco bay area in the eighties.  He spent many hours drawing as a child and developing graphic art work in school and in design programs associated with a career in engineering.      

Creativity to me is wondrous, it is a kindness from God and much of what I do is an attempt to honour and point to His great works.  Art to me is a story about life and relationships; it is a record illuminating meaningfulness in thought, nature, and experience.  To capture meaningfulness, art must reflect the Spirit of power, love and discipline.  I desire my work to be founded on this reality.    Solo Dio Gloria!
